Jan (H) the destruction of the branches looks sadly more like vandalism than strong winds. There are two branches downed, both at reachable arms length ..ie both from low down on the tree. It looks like they were just torn off and left. The signpost is also clearly vandalism. It would have taken several people to get it out of the ground with its heavy base. A large hole remains. It was then dragged twenty/thirty yards and chucked over the railings into the river, as I said in the earlier post it didnt quite make the water and is lying on the bank.
Sympathy as ever Ian. Picture two tells the story there in post 49.
It looks clean though.
