i missed the big switch on, had to be somehere else, but thoroughly enjoyed the afternoons entertainment.
many thanks to the entertainers and the town council for that.
the london road community forum was handing out minced pies and mulled wine(they didn't offer me one), from a stall outside the town council offices.
great to see those stalwarts jeanette and phil, with others that i do not know the names of, contributing yet again to the day.
the legendary terry nunn was trying to hide from my camera when i spotted him downing a baguette.
thought you were retired terry??????
the dover war memorial project held a christmas fayre in the church hall, saw our old friend brian in there.
tried to get pics of andy, brian and alan taylor, could not get them in one place long enough though.
andy must have taken his dog for the longest walk since chairman maos long march.
my thoughts went out to the morris dancers, stilt walkers etc who have to perform with a smile whilst trying to combat hypothermia.
let us hope that when the summer comes we will get something approaching the great events we had last year.
