    I went to the River Parish Church Bazaar which was well attended .I did see the lights however when I went out for a meal in Dinos .Excellent meal as ever .When we went in the lights in Castle Street were on and very good they looked however at 9.00pm they were out

    What a pity that some people who work in the sevice industry spend their time talking Dover Down .I had a real go at the taxi driver as he just kept slating Dover off .He had no idea who we were and I told him in no uncertain terms what I thought of his attitude .We went to the Yacht Club firstand he proceeded to say nothing goes on there its run down .Well far be it from that the place looked lovely all set up for a special dinner.
    Dover does not need these kind of no hopers .The driver coukld have talked about the seafront ,the Castle and indeeed the lights no he had to be negative .
    It my turn next week to man a stall at a bazaar .There are so many things going on difficult to fit everything in .
    One thing I would be intersted in knowing how many shops or cafes kept open .I did not see many at 7.00pm .
