does anyone know why the abovementioned thoroughfare has been sealed off by the police at belgrave road end?
just got in, crowds of sightseers blocking my front path.
all sorts of rumours flying about from the usual suspects.

Howard when we went up Malvern Road at about 3.45pm there were 4 police cars parked across Clarendon Street and police were interviewing several young people. We go along Clarendon Place and down Belgrave Road. There were more police vehicles at that end and we could see the area taped off by the police. As you say there were lots of onlookers too. The radio is saying that all these roads are now closed and I have just had a text from a friend in the area saying that Folkestone Road is also closed now because there's been a murder. I only have the text to say that, no proof. Oh my god, whatever has happened now
There's always a little truth behind every "Just kidding", a little emotion behind every "I don't care" and a little pain behind every "I'm ok".

I've just heard from someone else that a drugs related murder has happened. Again it could just be gossip.

ooops, details from Clarendon Street incident. There are more details but can't publish yet
I guess the real story will at some point come to light, but in the mean time, I would like people to remember that this young man who lost his life today, has young children and a family, my deepest sympathies go to them x x
