  When we were young and idealistic and first had the kids we banned guns from the house - our son, then tiny but already strong minded and assertive, just made them out of twigs, lego, plastercine, anything. We decided we might as well go with the flow and at least retain some control over the quality of toys he had!! And so far, even in teenage, he has not developed any violent tendencies.........
