ok calm down people, this is about newspapers.
the sandal wearers journal "guardian" has exhorted both readers to vote yellow.
the sunday telegraph has aligned itself with the blues(try to stay awake).
the times has gone for the blues, first time in 18 years, good news for dave.

Let's hope the Times and the Telegraph readers are in greater numbers than the Mirror. Is there another daily paper that supports Labour ?

Yes the newspapers are beginning to 'come out' as Howard puts it. The Guardian which has supported Labour for more than 30 years has gone Liberal Democrat in support of the need to change the electoral system. They say that the old two party blue or red system, no longer represents what people need..and I think we can see that ourselves too, following the massive surge for Nick Clegg in the opinion polls. People want change but have not..not.. plunged headlong into the arms of the Conservatives, because as they see it, that in itself doesnt deliver change. Government by concensus is what's wanted.
As Howard has noted The Times have gone blue too...all these papers supported Tony Blair last time round so you can see Gordon Brown is now up against it. Although he was competant in the last of the three debates he didnt set the world on fire. I think the newspapers were waiting for him to do just that...but he didnt.
The feeling is though that newspapers dont carry the sway they once did in these matters, and although it had been heralded as an internet campaign..that hasnt quite materialised either to the extent expected. No, the star of the media election process has been your humble TV in the corner.
..... and our Vic on DoverForum.com of course!
