  This thread was started to point out how democracy does not always rule .We were told that our committeee was to be disbanded but formal consultations were to take place with Parish Councils .That is not happening .I myself seem to be fighting the corner for the River bus service and certain other routes .I actually speak to senior officers of Stagecoach . Information is not always being shared with councillors and the Portfolio Holder alone cannot do everything .
