    It is naive to say Tesco don't have a monopoly, and naive to say, for instance, that they review their bus run around profit: it was a calculated means of enticing people. Tescos presence has dragged the town centre down, along with other factors. it is in tescos interests to deplete the town and reduce the choices for people so that they will shop at tesco. Choice isn't even close to being a factor. Reduction of choice is the driver, making sure more people fill tesco coffers and empty the town centre.
