So much for the community fun day, just read that a group of our drinking brethren had a mass brawl this afternoon, knowing that the likelihood of police intervention was almost nil.

A mass brawl and four bouncy castles together what more could you ask for?Perhaps next year they could turn the punch up into an arena event.

Just got back from town and the fun "day" is on again today, plenty of time to get tanked up with beer from the newsagent and initiate a mass brawl.

So much for a community fun day.The organisers could try a little harder and perhaps support the local traders from the community. For example a burger bar from Gravesend, another from Rochester,Rodeo bull from Canterbury and the ice cream van was from Essex! I doubt if more than half the traders in the park were from the Dover area.

That is a shame I wonder if local businesses were approached or were they already booked to go elsewhere so outsiders had to be asked.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

I seem to remember back in the Spring of the date(s) of this event so plenty of notice for local traders to get involved if they wanted to.
