I love to hear parents praising their children, not enough of that these days. John and Sue you have kids to be proud of and you obviously love them to bits. My four were educated in Dover too and have all got successful careers so I'm proud of mine too. You know I can't help thinking that if the parents of some of the kids who commit crimes, get into trouble with the law etc, were more supportive of and interested in their kids, just maybe we wouldn't get so many young people going wrong. It's amazing how a little praise can boost a childs ego. These days they seem to get pushed out and criticized most of the time and it's so sad. I think there's a song that says a little loving goes a long way - how true.
Anyway it cheered me up reading about your children so well done both of you, and as John said - all the mums and dads who's love and support has ended in well balanced happy kids
