The picture above shows the moment the defence team heard the verdict, as shown by Sky News. You can see the lawyers heads sink....their efforts crushed. I watched a lot of the trial and I personally would not have held the doctor responsible, not have found him guilty in other words...but then I always see the guys on trial as innocent. It must be a flaw in the personal makeup.
Doctor Murray remained dignified throughout the trial and as his defence lawyer said in summing up...
"would he have been here on trial at all if the victim had NOT been Michael Jackson"
which was a very solid point.
Anyway the guilty verdict has come in, all jurors found him guilty, not a majority verdict...all 12 went for guilty.
There was as ever the usual unsightly over-emotional and over-frantic people outside the court celebrating the guilty verdict. Women weeping, women fainting, which just strikes one as ridiculous. Banners stating Dr Murray Killed Michael Jackson etc. As in previous cases of similar nature, these celebs generally play a huge role in killing themselves.
