Well thats right...Im afraid Michael Jackson lost touch with real life, or normal life, a long time ago....so not much sympathy there, other than from diehard fans and there still are many it seems. The estate is destined to earn ever more money.

However the trial was fascinating in a sort of slow burning way...each detail had an element of the gripping about it. One expert making this case, the alternate expert making the other case, and so on. Hugely learned professors, hugely knowledgeable, yet still managing to disagree about drug intake and the ramifications of same.

One thing which I thought was so unusual to the UK eye...was the sight of the Sheriffs coming over and putting handcuffs on the Doctor moments after the verdict was announced. They handcuffed his hands behind his back which struck me as somewhat brutal and almost an infringement of human rights. He was unlikely to flail out at anyone. Very calm guy. It looked like total overkill.
