I am so pleased to hear that monies are being spent on Connaught Park, one of my very favourite places to go all year round! Nearly fell off my chair when I read the first post by Ian, the prospect of loosing the play facilities shook me to the core. I spend a lot of time there and have done ever since I moved to Dover. My girls loved the play area when they were little ones. We play tennis there in the summer, walk Fifi, feed the squirrels and generally just ramble about and enjoy the views. We are blessed to have such a great park, and yes Phil I love the birds, long may they live there for many more years to come
