Thanet District Council plan to control applications for bedsits in Cliftonville.
Dover has a similar problem (not just the Folkestone Road which I understand has been resolved) but in many areas in Dover where older/larger Victorian properties are.
Thanet DC state "the decision will allow planners to restrict the number of multi-occupancy homes and support other development such as houses and hotels".
Is this a policy that Dover District Council should adopt in order to deliver their aspirations as per the latest LDF. It seems where large clusters of "multiple-occupancy" properties occur there is sadly in general a degree of anti-social activities.
