19:5140812If a hospital is to be built at Buckland, then it makes sense to lower the road, does it not ?
I know the Chamber of Commerce were lobbying for it to be lowered years ago, then the cost was in the region of £800,000, so a lot more now.

20:5140821must be worth the money in the long run in the context of improving throughput of vehicles.

21:1540828It`s been such an obvious case for expenditure over the years, I`m afraid none of it makes sense to me.
Tell them that I came, and no one answered.

22:5640836You might have a good idea there Sue. A cable car from the Market Square to River via BHD, brilliant, go for it!

00:1341077Nigel told me another one had, this time it was a local transport company - can you believe that ??
Is the bridge height dropping ? they must know the height of the bridge.

00:2941078I heard that the small crane on the lorry had not been lowered enough and it was that that did the damage. That was the cause of the previous accident I believe.

06:1441079The cause of both accidents is the driver.................

20:3941106the road was open Friday evening when I came home at about 7.30 and also open this morning. the height limit sign needs to be on the main road by the bus stop with the directional sign's so that the lorry driver's do not turn into C.V.Road and then cause chaos trying to turn round to get out again. That may be only my female logic suggesting that, but never the less it is some form of logic.
