    how many posters thought the same as me, that rent collected from council tenants went straight back to our local authority to spend on maintenance and repairs and such like?

    it transpires that a third of this dosh collected from the council tenants of south east england is sent to other parts of the country, for others to spend.

    this image of the south east is so dated, i think that people in whitehall that travel home at the end of the day to the leafy suburbs of berkshire, surrey and hants have never heard of places like st rads, buckie estate and aycliffe.
