    Two good postings there.Local government is hard to understand.Some years ago rules came into place which meant local councils could not put up the rents more than inflation and in some cases by a further 1%.This has meant with national government taking a huge slice of the rents we collect it is hard to balance the books.We have to improve all our homes to a decent standard by 2010.This is an extra burden for your local council.My portfolio is very demanding .
