Yes there must have been some visitors in town as I noticed this morning loads of coins in the fountain( dont all rush round!). So some are certainly drifting in from the Liners. The fountain has only just been re done, cleaned out, serviced etc so the coins are all new. Nice to see that...there are a few oul romantic souls left.
There used to be a song there didnt there...
"Three coins in the fountain
somewhere in the heart of Rome"
or words to that effect, but its before my time!
Hate to mention the dilapidation that immediately greets the visitors as they emerge from under the bypass...the Bistro is shut now..as is Unwins, and as for the old market, well... if we could get that bit of town fixed up?
