I can go along with most of what Ian says, particularly about the door knocking. Anyone waking me up of an evening before a night shift will probably get a very sore ear. However, if you can vote then I believe you should. It is the only way to make changes happen. Apathy isn't an option in my book.
It would be nice, though, for the parties to come up with realistic manifestos and then stick to them if they get into power.
p.s. Is there any possiblity of foregoing the inter-party backstabbing next time around? I want to know what your party is going to do, not what the other parties are not going to do!
