i was with BT for over 30 years, no billing problems.
i just got fed up with them phoning me day and night asking why i did not want any more of their wonderful services.
a prime example
BT caller "have i called at a convenient time"?
me: not really just halfway into my dinner.
bt caller "fine, we have a new range of services to offer, that you will be excited about!!"
etc etc
the british gas service centre is the best though, ring them during a freezing cold winter's night to tell them
that your heating and hot water has packed up, they will then cheerfully tell you that they will be there in 3 days time,
during a 6 hour window, then enquire whether you wish to avail yourself of anymore of their wonderful services!!
this happened to me at 4 am on a january morning.
i had tried all evening, just getting a machine telling me how much they valued my call.
went to bed for 4 hours to stop myself freexing to death, then guessed that at 4 am there would not be so many people ringing in.
