Well, that's inspired, isn't it? Free after 4pm, just like Deal? Feeble. Totally feeble. What's the point of that? It's not like we have much significant late night shopping in either Dover or Deal, nor a particularly thriving night-time economy, brimming with restaurants, clubs, cinemas, theatres, pubs, gastropubs and all the other trappings of 21st century western civilisation which can be enjoyed in other, properly-functioning, outward-looking British towns.
Let them eat scraps...that's all the parking-fine trufflers and taxpayer-farmers are saying to the beleaguered locals.
Sorry, but this is nowhere near good enough. A typical half-arsed fudge. It'll do nothing to stimulate the post-4pm (!) economies of our high streets.
