  Went to the Deal Carnival last night and had a super time. I got utterly soaked inside and out.It was one helluva long carnival.I had to leave to catch my train at 22.50(the last one from Deal..youths running amok on the track..fighting.. girls shouting abuse at each other,,,,)so I didn't see all the awards ceremomy but I think The Dover girls won a few awards.I shall let Mandie post the results.Well done the Dover Carnival Court.

  YES INDEED. The Dover girls did superbly well yesterday. I cannot tell you how proud I am of all of them. Despite the wet weather, they were brilliant.
  
  Here are their latest set of awards.....
  
  1st place Junior Queen of Queens
  
  1st place Junior Princess Pairs
  
  1st Place Princess of Princesses (Nina Senior Dover Princess)
  
  3rd Place Junior court of the day
  
  
  and 3rd Place fancy dress (former Dover Rosebud Jorja)
  
  
  A superb effort by all the girls so huge thankyou to Miss Dover Loren, Junior Miss Dover Jordan, Dover Rosebud Natascha, Junior Princesses Karlie & Stacey, Senior Princess Nina

  Didn't see you Marek,mind you I was in a wig,with 20 others from DDC and Vista Leisure pushing the free street party on the Seafront and free swimming at Tides and the Leisure Centre on August 24th,it was busy even with the rain that soaked us all.
  If you knew what I know,we would both be in trouble!
