Spotted this new funnel in the harbour yesterday afternoon. Bit of an eyecatcher that one, quite striking. Clearly the Norfolkline ship is morphing into the DFDS Line piece by piece. The funnel has been this shade of royal blue for a while but they have just now managed to get the logo on... while in situ, as the ship has been carrying on its daily too-ing and fro-ing without pause.
Difficult times for shipping in the channel as we know but hope it goes well for them, previously Norfolkline made a great success of it really....when you consider they did a non-Calais route. I remember them launching their new pale blue ships what seems like only yesterday.
Oul seahorse forumite Ed Connell is out there onboard as i write...come in Ed!!
