I have had this brief in my box for years and just got it out again on the front in my hand writing is over £20.000 that must have been the cost of the Brief, in the Brief are 10pages that makes the cost of each page over £2000 and who has paid this,well it is you and me in COUNCIL TAX,
and that was in 2002 alot of cash.In looking on page 3 at no/3.4 (A) We have ,concentrate on new shops in Dover and deal in the town centres of Dover and Deal.
(b)Provide for the needs of the local population as is practical,taking into account the limitations imposed by Dover and Deal positions in the shopping hierarchy.
(C)Ensure that shops are accessible by a range of means of transport including walking and cycling.
Now we come to the very good one
(D)IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF TOWN CENTRE SHOPPING AND ITS ENVIRONMENT.
Do you now think that the £20.000or more cash of ours was well spend?.
and that the District Council acted on the brief of 2002.
