Yet another article on the 'end of the High Street'.

Bicester Village is going to be particularly interesting as it relied to a great extent on overseas (mostly Chinese) visitors as opposes to Bicester Shopping Park which provides the usual M&S/Boots etc out of town leaving the High Street 'dead'.
Much the same has happened in Banbury which I also visited last year where M&S, the 'anchor tenent' have upped sticks from a dreadful council built shopping centre to locate to the Banbury Gateway Shopping park a couple of miles out of town.
Meanwhile MacArthur Glen of Ashford fame have enough confidence to be opening a brand new £160m 'designer outlet' in the West Midlands
