What a fantastic draw the Mighty Whites have in the third qualifying round of the FA Cup at Crabble: Dover Athletic v AFC Wimbledon, on Saturday October 11, kick-off 3pm.
We're talking a 4000-5000 crowd for that one. It's going to be some occasion. Be there to cheer on the mighty DAFC.

I used to live only a few miles from Wimbledons ground...before it was closed down and moved to somewhere like Milton Keynes as I remember. They had some great cup runs in their day and always had a fighting spirit. Should be quite a game at Crabble. Im sure all fans will enjoy it.

i went to plough lane a few times, they did not have seats, just benches.
they painted marks to show where one seat ended and the next started.
anyone of average size had no chance of taking up just one seat, the arguments that went on!!

Ah thats it Howard...Plough Lane. I went there a number of times meself in the old days. Bit basic it was in comparison to the big boys but much enthusiasm carried the place through.
Next door to it was a Speedway track and I went there a number of times too, ah the great smell of those engines on those warm summer evenings..lovely, the fuel they used had that distictive odour. Classic...but theyre all gone now as I remember.Sigh!
The greyhound track is still next door, I believe, Paul. I went there a few times several years back when I lived in London and was a sponsor of a greyhound called 'Megamutt' (it's a long story...!).
