I'm certainly looking forward to a good match but a busy and fun day. We also have a special young fella as mascot for the day details below. Hopefully Meridian TV are coming along before the game to talk to the little fella's parents and Dean who is runnning the marathon as below.
This Saturday we have a very special VIP mascot. His name is George and he is 4 years old. Unfortunately, George has a rare skin condition called Epidermal Nevus Syndrome (ENS). This means he has regular visits to Great Ormond Street Hospital for treatment to lesions on his body. With this in mind, his friend and one of Dover's regular supporters - Dean Cox is running the London Marathon on Sunday in aid of Great Ormond Street as a thank you for helping and looking after George. Dean is running the Marathon dressed as a Penguin - which is the name of the hospital ward George visits
There will be a collection for Great Ormond Street on the exit gate at the final whistle, please try and support this worthy cause, as I know that Dean, George and all the family will be very grateful. His donation site/more information regarding George's condition can be found
