This is a fairly complex thing, and fear getting involved, politics and religion always a non starter for me, look what happens across the world, normally one of these two things will have started it off.
On the question of SUNDAYS I do feel family life is seriously affected by shops opening on a sunday, but thats only part of the break down of family life, so will probably stop there, as the subject is so big, and could go on, but realy unless we look again at what's going on around we are in for a bleak future.
On the question of religion I was dragged up through the catholic church(St pauls) even attended st pauls prmary school(showing me age lol)
can't say they did me any good, in fact all my family went through this system and one of my brothers has become an active humanist member because of the horrific things seen in catholic school by SO CALLED christian nuns.
I do have faith, and always recall a vicar telling me, you don't have to attend church to be a christian, but its good if you could for the good of the church itself.
He was my idea of a promoter of the church(sadly not catholic)
I didnt get married in catholic church.
Church is just a building, its about what you do with your life that matters, thats all that him upstairs is concerned about lol
