  Hi all,
  
  A few of us for some time have been interested in the idea of a community radio station for Dover. It would be an excellent project, and be great for the area.
  I have been involved with quite a few small scale radio stations before in the area, and am keen to see something happen in Dover.
  
  We are having a meeting to discuss ideas about this at The White Horse Public House on Monday, May 10 at 7:00pm. Please feel free to come along if you would like to know more, and if you would like to be involved.

  Yes I go along with that, at this very time i am working on events for this year and 2012 and having a local radio would be a great way to get to the public.

  A good meeting last night, which sadly I had to leave after an hour or so. There were a goodly number at that meeting from many different sides of Dovorian life , and I would encourage all members to get behind Terry Cleaver & Matt Curtis on this project. It's been imaginatively thought through with the crucial areas identified and with a realistic time line put in place.
  
  Keep your eyes peeled, this project could really take off.
  
  Phil Meggett was on hand taking pics for the Dover Express, too - most unlike our Vic to miss out on a photo opportunity!

  Don't worry Vic you're more than welcome to the next one on June 21st at 7pm at The White Horse.
  
  Now has anyone got any events or would like to do any interviews during the summer so we can get some features ready for the website and online?
  
  Also if anyone has any ideas for funding or have a business who would like to sponsor us (of couse you'll get advertised on air if you do!) or advertise on the station please do get in touch as we will now be raising funds to get DCR on air.
