Dover Express May 23 1975. only 1p!

  This was mine from years ago which I put by for future interest, and the future`s arrived. Dated, May 23 1975, this was produced in the third week of the National Graphical Association dispute. Only 8 pages, which include`s the back, and a lot smaller. Note the headlines, very appropriate for on here at the present time, as it tells us of secret council meetings, and market stall holders being served notices to get out, together with many Dovorians fearing that we may be losing the chance of shopping in a market!

  Vic lets see,........yes it says Vic was standing(nothing new there) and he got flattened by a Welsh Man(nothing new there) in a 2 cornered fight,thats new.the returning officer counted to 10 and said that's it(nothing new there).
  
  It carries on Vic known as the Dubris Dynamo ran around for the first 3 mins and when the going got tough he started walking backwards.The referee a Mr E Chelphick(Belgravia) said I saw Vic on the ropes but I didn't see the low punch because a Mrs N Sicholas put her hat over my eyes.The fight was later shown on a giant TV no not that one a 23 inch one in the Granada office in the Market Square.
  
  Frank Bruno said,I would like to fight Vic but I don't know anything about Politics,so I will have to take him on in the ring.....result.....the same straight left hook and out.
  If you knew what I know,we would both be in trouble!

  Thank you for that John, but just to tell you that there is no punch called a straight left hook.Straight jap,bend hook.But I like your post well done,but as for a K.O. we will see on the day.

  sorry Vic I was going to put a straight Right but changed it to Left Hook but didn't knock out the Straight.
  If you knew what I know,we would both be in trouble!
