  Yes, it's that time of year again. The Beer Festival is behind us, and now it's the turn of the Dover Film Festival.
  
  Main features are:- Mike McFarnell's film of the events in Dover last year and also Ray Warner's film of Dover in 1959.
  
  See Vic Matcham plunging into the sea!
  
  It all takes place in the Town Hall on Monday 22nd Feb and Tuesday 23rd Feb. Showings are at 3pm and 7.30pm. To help alleviate the parking problems this year the afternoon performances will last about an hour and three quarters. This is so you won't have problems if you are parked in a DDC car park.
  
  Free programmes are now being distributed in shops in the town. If you can't get one give me a bell on 205411 on I will get one to you.

  The Dover Film Festival along with the beer festival is one of the great Dover events of each year,alot of work goes into the making of this to ,the support for it is growing but still needs more so please go along to it,as for seeing myself plunging into the sea each year,Terry,the public love seeing going in but it is seeing me get out again that upsets them.

  Yes very enjoyable event this was last year. Mike's films are fantastic and very enjoyable. We watched all the events of the year unfurl, those in high summer Pencester and so on are always a joy to relive. Ive been myself at a great many events over the year, taking pictures for doverforum, and Mike is always there too and indeed probably at many more, quietly filming away.

  Will be attending the Film Festival again this year always good seeing the past years events and also the old Ray Warner film as well.
