You are correct on the snickers bar, but i was delayed by someone else wanting my company at 2pm so had to dash round but still made it for 3pm
And what a pleasure it was again to be in your company
Dover are going through a bad patch, but still up there, and can still make the play offs, which hopefully they can do well in.
My thoughts are, is the club both financially and team staff ready to go up???
Only time will tell on this one.
But as we chatted Vic we both go back to the Dover Bill Swain days, so we have seen the realy bad days, and realy good days, so lets support the club at whatever level it achieves

20:3636183impressed that 900 turned up in the freezing cold and no public transport either.
they certainly deserve league football one day.

thats an interesting point.
whilst i'm the first to want them up there in the football league, they have to be ready for it.
Wages in the conference premier shoot up should Dover get that second spot in the play offs.
Lat time they were there they could not compete with some of the full time sides, Sadly bigger business doesnt get behind the club,
Whatever happens with the club I will be supporting the club, iv seen the good and bad times and remain loyal to the club.

21:3436210note my words "one day" keith.
i have a lot of misgivings about anymore quick promotions for the whites, best to settle down in a league for a year or two.
seen it before with clubs racing through divisions then going back down as quickly.
if they continue their success story and in a few years reach the football league, is it really necessary for players to go full time?

No its not, buch they will be competing against;
clubs full time thus more training etc
clubs wif a lot more dosh
clubs that pay higher wages thus Dover couldnt afford new players
