    I had an interesting lunch with the sec and treasurer from the SE RR club and asked them to put in their agenda a regular trip to Dover. After 5 mins of the big sell the Sec said that they were more than happy to come here any time as the Club loved the area. He couldnt diary anything till 2012 so i replied that I was thinking long term and offered a day trip if they stayed over and also a James Bond weekend that is long in the planning. I told them that Dover Tourism was looking to be more proactive and wanted car clubs to see us as a venue. I will be keeping in contact with them until we can make good on that promise. I was anyway about to do the same sell to the jaguar.enthusiasts club of which I am a member!

    Also spent tie with the Deputy Mayor of Monmouth who came in the Mayors place. They have an interesting method of selecting mayors by taking it in turn regardless of politics!!!
