Having been let out of my cage today to go for a blood test (oh joy!) I noticed how lovely everything was looking around St Mary's Church and Pencester gardens. Daffodils in bloom, lots of blossom and the trees with fresh new leaves. It made me think that we do have lots of offer here in Dover.
I saw on the Market Square TV that there is an exhibition at the Charlton Arts Centre. I had to ask around to find out where that is, as there was no address. Surely it would help tourists if in additon to the bare statement there was help about how to get there. I hear there is going to be a Rolls Celebration in June along the lines of the Bleriot knees-up. I hope this is going to be well publicised (though our sea-front is not much to write home about at present) and that someone will think to stick a few posters up in the Cruise Terminal.

I hope Diana that the numerous car enthusiast magazines up and down the country give the Rolls celebration`s plenty of publicity. Not sure whether I`ll be bringing mine yet, as I can`t get more than one number.

Then you might also have seen me about, Diana! I also often walk through the Pencester area and around Saint Mary's church, it's so beautiful that church with all the flowers and trees in Blossom, and the whole Pencester area, and the river walk too. As for the Seafront, there is the other side of the Promenade which is also nice, with the green lawn and areas where there are benches for picnics, and again so many lovely flower-gardens on display!

I should imagine the Spring gales will be here soon, blowing all the blossom away. Enjoy while it`s there.
