Its been going for quite a few years now every Tuesday and sometimes Saturday. For some reason its never really ever took off.Markets in Deal,Folkestone etc seem to be quite well attended with both shoppers and traders but not here.I know the time of year doesnt help but now we,re down to about 1-2 traders, sometimes none at all,i,ve never seen much more than 6 stalls when it was busy.In the Market sq there was just 2 today,Grocer and a Bric a brac.Just doesnt seem to work here.

For years when growing up folkestone market was the place to go (for a proper market experience).
I think the only time Dover market was successful was when it was at the old gas works site and previously in the early 70's.

The old gas works site where Jewsons now stands. In the early 80s the market was very busy there and i remember was officialy opened by Barbara Windsor. We also had another that was fairly successful which was on the site of the now High street surgery.

Yes I do remember that, though the memory is vague. My family owned the grocers opposite, now the pharmacy.

I remember the butcher, he used to do me a great deal on pig heads so I could make some great brawn using my mother-in law's old family recipe.

Yes that's her.
Buster was co-owner of Star Taxis but i believe he sold his share. Would need to check with my mother for the details, but my recollection was she was his 1st wife.
I do have some glasses of theirs and a couple of Pyrex dishes that we use weekly. So think of them a lot
