Went past these today to see one of the three masts being demolished.
These have been part of the Dover "Iconic" landmarks and I would have thought due to their importance in WWII had some form of preservation on them.
I know the "cros-spurs" were removed a few years ago but complete demolition may take away part of the history of Dover and WWII
Anyone any idea who is responsible. I think the masts are still MOD

It might be down to cost of repairs to keep them up most steel needs to be painted etc if outside, they might be a danger if left as they are.
