    Just an aside here Howard. Did you know that Custers 7th cavalry shared their troop song, the 'Garry Owen', with the Light Brigade who used it during the Crimea War and that the Native American name for the site of the last stand, Greasy Grass was also the Zulu name for Isandwahla.

    The regatta was a good show this year and the food stalls were plentiful, and with a great variety. Well done the organisers and shame about the weather.
