I think the sunshine brought everyone out today Sue. As the weather has been bloody abysmal for days a touch of Spring does wonders for the cash tills of the hardpressed businesses in central Dover. I personally havent been back to Morrisons yet as my vehicle has been out of action, but will do shortly. Went there of course on opening day to see the ribbon being cut by Mayor Sue..you will remember the pictures Im sure!

I do feel sorry for you poor chaps not living on a bus route .I must say today it was a sruggle with three full bags of shopping .No wonder my poor old face is etched with lines and I need bed socks .
On the other hand, down towards the Market Square there is a Pound Shop, a Betting Shop and a Pawn Shop next door to each other, conveniently close to a Public House selling beer at £1 a pint.........

Last day before Easter and Dovorians panic in case the country runs out of goods. It's the same every public holiday and I don't know why; this is the only place I've lived where it is so. Can't say more, I've got to nip up to Tesco's and buy 25 loaves of bread, just in case.

Better fill up with petrol whilst you're there, Sid. Apparently the petrol stations are closed now until July.
True friends stab you in the front.

this strange event always happens the thursday before easter, yet all the supermarkets have big signs saying that they are open on the friday.

Sorry Sue, did you need the bedsocks to go shopping in?
Tell them that I came, and no one answered.
