It is not widely known but a number of the young folks in the town, through the schools and associated organisations are busy working on supporting the campaign for the Olympic Torch to enter the UK through Dover when it is en-route to London in 2012.

I have heard them sing the song Pass The Passion that they wrote themselves and on the website you will see the badge that should have been sent round to scholls throughout the District by Kent County Council.
The Dover Torch Campaign is being led by Kent County Council, supported by Dover District Council, Dover Town Council and many others, as well as Dame Kelly Holmes.
We need to all get behind this great cause and support it to the hilt.
