  Seems to be a lot of "ifs" there.
  
  In my game we have a saying "Don't assume as it will make an Ass of U and Me", that is why we check everything, assess every risk, make plans to mitigate the risk, make plans to deal with the risk if it materialises etc. Funnily enough all successful businesses do the same, maybe not with quite the rigour and single mindedness that project managers apply, but they do it all the same; they also devise and develop strategies to not only give meaning to the vision they have of where their business is going, but also to deal with that which is foreseeable and to take advantage of it.
  
  Really Vic, I never took you for a "sit on you hands fatalist", but clearly I was wrong.
