    Is not about position, but cost.
    We already have 3 very costly councils
    add a peoples mayor and more for your council tax bill to rise.

    on top of that what would he/she do if theres already a mayor? 2 mayors?
    the carnivals come to mind and the problems that caused.

    I think I'v made my views known to VIC he has by the looks of it decided that he will ignore good advice
    but of course he has the democratic right and of course Like Barryw I wish all labour candidates well first, and suspect VIC will be humilated again.
    Mine was not a political one, mine was thinking more of VIC and his family, it wasn't nice to see VIC totally destroyed at the general election count, after having he impression he was going to win??????
    then having advised him not to stand in local elections(for him and his family)he stood!!!!

    As iv said VIC has lots of burning energies. and theres loads of groups to channel this into.

    But im sure VIC knows what hes doing
