Dover realy did up there game and came out all guns blazing, and woking were happy to sit back on the goal lead from the first leg, and defend well, and rely on counter attacks, which at times were very effective catching Dover out as they all pushed forward searching for that goal.
Dover hit the bar a couple of times and the post 2 or 3 times, and one shot came off the upright and crossed the line, but ref didnt give it and instead gave off side.
Dover did themselves proud against Woking who are full time, and held there own against a solid Woking side.
Both sets of supporters cheered on there sides, but it wasn't to be Dovers day. - Brian Dixon

Yes that's correct, Dover played there heart out, but it wasn't to be today.
But in the short time Hessy has been at Dover as manager he has worked wonders

I think because of where on the map Dover is, players don't likecoming down this far, but HESS has done well getting players on loan(will they remain?)
will the club now have the dosh as the chair of board warned that he was desperate for promotion, and club may not survive in the lower league and with gates less than a 1,000
Theres a lot of thinking to be done.
but like some dedicated supporters have said to me, maybe its a good thing, less travelling, but the clyb has ambition
(and rightly so)
but i believe they need to get some dosh behind them(large amounts)if they want to get promoted, and consider some full time players.
It will cost real money.
