    Further details on the above.

Dover Town Council will be re-affirming its commitment to maintain the War
Memorial in the memorial gardens outside its offices in Maison Dieu House,
    Biggin Street.
This year (and every 3rd year) The Town Council is updating the names on the War
Memorial to include the fallen, connected with Dover, who are not shown.

In addition to the Council's normal Remembrance Service on Sunday the 8th
November 2009, a dedication ceremony will take place on the 11th November 2009
for the new bronze plaque, which is to be affixed to the left rear of the memorial.

The new plaque will contain 22 names and relatives of the nominees will be invited
to attend the service which will be taken by Reverend David Ridley and will
include children from St. Mary's Primary School and sea cadets from the local
troop who will play the bugle during the service.

The service will begin at approximately 10.40am and is expected to conclude at
    approximately 11.15am.

As Brian said, all are welcome.

    Roger
