    The immediate response for all of us is: What can we do to make life better for those in need? Perhaps donations, volunteering, offering skills etc.

    The medium term response for all of us is: What can we do to reduce and then eradicate our area's poverty issue? Campaigning, raising awareness, keeping the debate alive etc.

    The wider response for all of us, whilst encompassing the above (not meant theologically) is to lobby KCC, Mr Elphicke MP, DDC and businesses/conglomerates that avoid paying their share of taxation, even those that are legal yet morally corrupt - boycotting their goods and services and drawing attention to their immoral endeavours is something for us all to consider.

    No more sleepwalking.
