    All the things you need to get people through the door all cost so much money,bands can be anything from £150-£250 for the night. A local publican recently told me that to just show live sport on tv in the pub can cost a few thousand a year.It must be very hard running a pub now especially trying to compete with the big chains that can do a drink for near half the price of a small pub.
