    The Prim was OK when it had good landlords. Pete Bessant's Dad way back when and Louis Napier in the late 70's. It could be a violent place sometimes, to be sure. I was only an occasional visitor to Dover in those days but I soon learned that, if you were going on pub crawl, it was probably best to put the Primrose amongst the first you visited.
