  acording to a report on the bbc local lunch time news,we may have unmaned drones flying over the white cliffs of dover,operated by the police.there job so to speak is to protect our borders ?.thought that was down to the border agency.there are agencys speaking out against it,saying that they would be flying over our towns and citys spying on the genrael public.

  Well, of course, it is only right and proper that, as we accept unquestioningly lethal Drone strikes against others, we should welcome the opportunity to look the world in the eye by accepting much the same dangers ourselves.

  Properly managed they will be an asset, you cannot have Border Agency everywhere a boat can come ashore and suspicious movements could be monitored.

  brian asks the question "why the police and not the border agency", both groups are suffering cuts but would have thought that the latter would be best placed to monitor the drones.

  true howard,but trials dont start untill september 2013.and theres allraedy oppistion aganist them.any way good bad it might be intressting how it pans out.
