Here I am with my last few pictures for this thread. As you can see there is more or less nothing left to photograph from my location...the one-time monster beast that soared menacingly above our heads, has been razed to the ground...or more accurately.. the near-ground. Halleluyah!

Well done to all concerned. Progress has been made on all fronts DTIZ, and the company doing the demolition work is fast fast fast. Don't know their name but...let me call them henceforth... Rapid Fire Demolition!

Now that the beast has been slain, yours truly is seeing parts of Dover never seen before. I can see graveyards...oh dear off the top of my head I cant remember the name of it, but, our ol legendary forum friend Jeane used to talk about it and indeed photographed there for one of her books...and here it is below nestling on the grassy slopes of Western Heights. Never seen it before! This pic below is a zoomed-in crop of the one above.

Heavens! a chap can almost see occasional/regular watering hole the Mash Tun in the pic below but not quite...perhaps the roof or upper tier...while the hardworking guys slave away in the foreground on the ever diminishing Burlington floors.

Extra: if I can ever see the Mash Tun directly to ground level I will co-ordinate a waving picture with Mash Tun maestro Peter Garstin...other than that my pictures here of Burlington House are probably done.
It is fascinating to look back through the threads and see the building shrinking.
