  There seems little point in knocking down loads of buildings and putting hoardings of fly-postings over them - half of Dover would come down.
  
  As we're still talking of some months away, I'd have thought we could use the Community pay-back team to tidy up many of our run-down, dilapidated buildings.
  At least a new coat of paint would make them look brighter and the Town a bit more cared for, until either they're knocked down or done up properly.
