Firstly Roger try not to open the emails as this tells them that they have reached a live email address.
If you are using outlook, copy the email address of the sender, click on the settings cog, select options and paste their address into the blocked sender section. This will stop any incoming messages from that source.
I have found that some, slightly modified, blocked addresses reappear after a time and then I just repeat the procedure.
If you are using another email provider there will possibly be a similar facility in their help section.
Also be aware if you are tempted to open any attachments.....DON'T as these quite often contain malware.
Do nothing and nothing happens.
